Being a lady of leisure is hard

I'm still at home trying to be still . . . I painted my toenails, took a nap, did work stuff throughout the day, and I'm watching Oprah. Here's a link to the best turkey burger she's ever had (at a Donald Trump restaurant). http://www.oprah.com/foodhome/food/recipes/200805/food_20080516_burger.jhtml

Joke of the day:
A man and his wife were making their first doctor visit prior to the birth of their first child. After everything checked out, the doctor took a small stamp and stamped the wife's stomach with indelible ink.The couple was curious about what the stamp was for, so when they got home, the husband dug out his magnifying glass to try to see what it was. In very tiny letters, the stamp said, "When you can read this, come back and see me."
Have a great weekend!

Where are you getting all these jokes from???

Mission accomplished on being do-gooders. It was actually pretty devastating over behind Krispy Kreme on Pio Nono (and I thought nothing could be more devastating than the Krispy Kreme getting hit by a tornado!)

I snapped a couple of funny pics of Troy helping tear down the remainder of a woman's porch AND we got to visit the landfill! It has been quite an exciting day! I posted more about it at macontracks.org (click Forum, General Discussion, Storm).

Today I'm posting "Justin and Amy's Off-Limits Margaritas" (more commonly known as the "Jennifer-Margarita")

5 shots Tres Alegros Tequila
1/8 shot of sour mix, or less if you prefer
Ice

Mix above ingredients and serve to unsuspecting friends (just not Sandra!) Enjoy!

Here is a simple recipe that my friend from college named "Dallas' Fiesta Lime Chicken."

You will need:
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Red new potatoes (skins on)
A couple of limes
A little butter (I use the spray kind)
Cilantro (fresh)
A couple scoops of salsa
Cheddar jack or mexican blend cheese

Spray a casserole dish and put the cut up potatoes around the edge with some spray butter on top.
Bake that for about 10 minutes at around 375. Then add in the chicken with some lime juice and spray butter on top in the middle of the dish. Bake all this until it whistles and the chicken isn't pink. Meanwhile, stir up a handful of cheese, some chopped cilantro, and the salsa. Then sprinkle this mix on the potatoes, and a little on the chicken if you like cheese. Bake this for a couple more minutes so the cheese will be melty. Serve with fresh lime wedges!

You can add more or less chicken and potatoes for more people. Yum!
